In pursuance to Letter No. 2()47/R&DM (DM) dated 30.03.2022 of Joint Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Launch Driver & Khalasi for the power boats available in the District of Rayagada.
1. Position : Driver
2. No of Post : 03
3. Salary : Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 11,100/- for launch driver.The period of engagement is for 06 (six) months i.e. from 01.06.2022 to 30.11.2022.
4. Eligibility & conditions:
a) The incumbents appointed to the posts are not eligible to get any D.A or any other allowance. Candidates applying for the post of Temporary Launch Driver must possess minimum 2nd class Launch Driving Certificate. Technical test of the candidates for the post of launch driver will be taken by the District Administration.
b) Candidates who qualify in the test shall only be appointed. Fresh candidates applying for the post of Temporary Boat Khalasi should at least have passed class VII and should have crew Training Certificate. Other conditions remaining the same, candidates having work experience in SPEO in the same post as applied for shall be given preference over others.
c) Selected candidates shall be required to submit a certificate of fitness from a Govt. medical practitioner before joining.
d) They shall also submit a self-declaration that they can swim in river, canal or any water body for a distance of 200 mtrs. in 20 minutes and they will be responsible for themselves in case of any unfortunate incident.
e) The appointed will be valid from the date of joining of the person till 30.11.2022.
f) Preference should be given to the applicants belongs to Rayagada district.
