Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Eligibility for Veterinary Doctors

• Essential: Graduate in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from a recognized College/University. Registered and valid practitioner with Odisha Veterinary Council.
• Experience: Work Experience in Animal Welfare Service. Preference will be given to Retired Veterinary Doctors or fresh doctors.
• Age Limit: Not above 65 years (as on 01 July 2025).
• Language: ME Standard Certificate with Odia language.

Eligibility for AHL Assistants

• Essential: +2 Science or 2-year Diploma in Animal Sciences or 2 years vocational course in Animal Husbandry/Dairy/Poultry/Animal Production from a recognized educational institution.
• Experience: Work Experience in Animal Welfare Service. Preference will be given to experienced candidates having +2 Science with Vocational Course in Animal Husbandry/Animal Science etc.
• Age Limit: Not above 55 years (as on 01 July 2025).
• Language: ME Standard Certificate with Odia language.

Eligibility for AHL Attendants

• Essential: 10th Pass/HSC Pass from the BSE/CBSE/ICSE Board. Physically fit.
• Experience: Work Experience in Animal Welfare Service. Preference will be given to the candidates having more experience in Animal Husbandry/Animal Science etc.
• Age Limit: Not above 55 years (as on 01 July 2025).
• Language: ME Standard Certificate with Odia language.

Eligibility for AHL Drivers

• Essential: 10th Pass with valid commercial license. Physically fit. No criminal background.
• Experience: More than 5 years of experience in driving commercial vehicles. Preference will be given to the candidates having more experience and good moral character (without any bad habits).
• Age Limit: Between 18 to 40 years (as on 01 July 2025).
