The applications are invited for the following full time contractual position of SRF.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Eligible candidates should send their applications. giving information such as Name, Father's Name, Permanent address, Date of birth, Qualification (from High School onwards, giving details about year of passing. division, percentage of marks, name of institution/ university) and experience, duly supported by copies of testimonials.
2. One passport-size photograph Must be affixed right Ivand corner at the top of the application.
3. The position is purely temporary and only up to the project period and subject to continue or terminate at any time as per the discretion of the funding agency.
4. Eligible candidates should send their application up to 25.12.2021 and appear for the interview on 27-12-2021 at 11.00 am in the office of the undersigned.
5. No separate interview letter will be issued and no TA/DA is admissible to candidates appearing for the interview.
6. The appointment shall be given on a six-monthly review basis.
7. Attested copies of all testimonials must be enclosed. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

About Govind Ballabh Pant University Agriculture and Technology
After independence, development of the rural sector was considered the primary concern of the Government of India. In 1949, with the appointment of the Radhakrishnan University Education Commission, imparting of agricultural education through the setting up of rural universities became the focal point. Later, in 1954 an Indo-American team led by Dr. K.R. Damle, the Vice-President of ICAR, was constituted that arrived at the idea of establishing a Rural University on the land-grant pattern of USA. As a consequence a contract between the Government of India,
Govind Ballabh Pant University Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) was established on 17th November 1960. It is located in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. It provides both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Agriculture.
