Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is the agency responsible for overall development of the Greater Noida City. Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority was established in January 1991. GNIDA looks after Planning, Development, Operations & Maintenance and Regulatory functions. GNIDA also attracts investments in the city. GNIDA will provide quality infrastructure, attract industries, generate employment and look towards growth & development of the city. Ecotech - Industry friendly and eco-friendly industrial area was established by GNIDA. Here rights of admission are reserved. Polluting industries are prohibited from setting up here. Allowed industries are given speedy clearances and approvals and incentives to promote early commissioning of projects. Greater Noida has now become one of the favoured locations for good industrial investment because of its good infrastructure near Delhi and effective single window system of speedy decision making and clearances.
