Educational Qualification: CA / ICWA.
Experience: 15 (fifteen) years’ post-qualification experience in a Central / State / Public Sector Undertaking or in a Public Limited Company having turnover not less than Rs. 500 Crores per annum. Out of 15 years, 05 (five) years’ experience should be in a Senior Management Cadre of the Finance & Accounts Department. Experience in Power Sector companies shall be preferred.
Pay Scale:Pay Scale: INR 129800-202700/- Per Month
Age Limit: 45 years.

The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) is an electrical service umbrella company in Gujarat. It was established in May 1999. The Company was created by the Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) as its wholly owned subsidiary in the context of liberalisation and as a part of efforts towards restructuring of the power sector with the aim of improving efficiency in management and delivery of services to consumers. As a part of Power Reform Process, the Electricity Act, 2003, was passed by the Government of Gujarat to restructure the Electricity Industry with an aim to improve efficiency in management and delivery of services to consumers.
Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) was reorganised effective from 1 April 2005 into Seven Companies with functional responsibilities of Trading, Generation, Transmission and Distribution etc.
