Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the interview of two posts of Project Associate- I on 03.01.2022 at 11.00 am in the office of the undersigned in the project entitled DBT-29 "Establishment of a Consortium for One Health to address Zoonotic and Transboundary Diseases in India including the North east region". The following qualifications for appointing two posts of Project Associate- I is proposed

3. Qualifications and eligibility conditions for posts of Profect Associate- B.V.Sc. & AH or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.0/10.0. in Veterinary Public Health &Epidemiology/Veterinary Public M.V.Sc Health/Microbiology/Animal Biotechnology/ M.Sc in Biotechnology or any relevant branch of life science with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0. Candidate should have knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. The condition of knowledge of, which is relaxed upto 5 years for Punjabi upto matric level is however, relaxable, if the candidate is found otherwise deserving. SC/ST/PH/OBC/Women candidates. P

a. reference will be given to candidates having experience in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology/knowledge/working experience in immunological/microbiological/ biotechnological techniques. The post is valid only till the availability of sanctioned funds The post is purely temporary in nature on six months basis and is co-terminus with the project.

4. Emoluments: Rs, 25000/- P.M. + 16% HRA (consolidated)

5. Job Responsibilities: Research duties according to the objectives of the project. Candidate should travel throughout the Punjab state and other adjoining states for sample and data collection. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

6. The post is purely temporary and the services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The initial appointment will be for six months and will be extended subject to satisfactory performance. The incumbent will have no right what so ever for absorption in the regular university service.
