Educational Qualification & Experience:Follows the latest NMC norms and varies by post and department. For Teaching Faculty: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per NMC guidelines. For Senior Resident: MD/MS in relevant specialty; MBBS with 2 years experience may be considered if no PG candidate is available.
Skills:Medical expertise, teaching, clinical research, patient care, emergency response, leadership, and communication.
Age Limit:Teaching Faculty: Maximum 69 years. Senior Resident: Maximum 45 years, as on the date of interview. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
Salary (Approximate Gross):
- Professor: Level 13, Basic Pay ₹1,23,100/- (Gross ~₹2.5 Lakh)
- Associate Professor: Level 12, Basic Pay ₹78,800/- (Gross ~₹1.7 Lakh)
- Assistant Professor & Senior Resident: Level 11, Basic Pay ₹67,700/- (Gross ~₹1.45 Lakh)
- Tutor: Level 10, Basic Pay ₹56,100/- (Gross ~₹1.2 Lakh)
Note: For Senior Resident posts, ₹1,350/- is deducted for diploma holders, and ₹2,250/- for non-degree/diploma holders.
Selection Procedure:
- Walk-in Interview based on academic credentials and performance before the Selection Board.
Application Fee:
- Rs. 500/- for General/OBC category candidates.
- Nil for SC/ST/ESIC Regular Employees/Female Candidates/Defence Ex-servicemen/PH Candidates.
- Payable through Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1" payable at Ludhiana.
