Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Director (Project & Planning)
- Service Requirement: Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) Group "A" Officers.
- Experience: Minimum 22 years of total experience. Must be currently working in the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG). At least 5 years of experience in Railway construction (New Line, Gauge Conversion, Double Line) or Metro infrastructure projects.
- Specific Skills: Experience in project report preparation, sanctioning, and resource mobilization.
- Age Limit: Not more than 55 years as of the date of notification (Cut-off date: 30/12/2025).

The role involves overseeing engineering surveys, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), and feasibility studies. It includes implementation of projects like the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC), consultancy for railway projects, land acquisition planning, and arranging statutory approvals.
