Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

The Senior Research Associate post falls under the IICA project; the Chief Program Executive and Project Assistant posts fall under the WNS Project. The pay is consolidated – Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, medical facilities and other compensation packages are not admissible. Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Applicants must be Indian citizens of sound health. The closing date (21.11.2026) is the crucial date for all eligibility conditions; provisional claims will not be accepted.

Senior Research Associate

• Mandatory Qualification: Full-time post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or a qualification related to CSR and Sustainability (needs assessments, SROI, baseline surveys, impact evaluation, etc.)
• Mandatory Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of general experience in CSR and Sustainability
• Skills: Research design, data collection and analysis, MS-Office suite, data analysis tools; proven skills in writing and publishing need and impact assessments; developing research proposals and field studies
• Preferred: Ph.D. in relevant disciplines; SROI assessment experience an added advantage

Chief Program Executive

• Mandatory Qualification: Master's degree in Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or a related field from a recognized university
• Mandatory Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in CSR, sustainability, ESG, or corporate citizenship roles in corporate, academic, research, or consulting institutions
• Technical Knowledge: Indian CSR regulations (Companies Act 2013; Schedule VII; NBFC CSR Rules), SDGs, UNGC, ISO 26000, impact measurement tools
• Essential Skills: Written and verbal communication, research methodologies, data analysis (Excel, SPSS, NVivo), project management, strategic thinking, MS Office Suite proficiency, independent work ability and travel readiness
• Preferred: Ph.D. or certifications in CSR/Sustainability; LMS familiarity desirable

Project Assistant

• Mandatory Qualification: Articleship of CA/CS/ICWA or related disciplines with exposure to CSR, sustainability, or related fields
• Required Skills: MS Office and Canva proficiency (MS Excel is a must); good communication and writing skills; strong attention to detail; travel to field areas across India for data collection, meetings, and business development is mandatory
• Preferred: 1–3 years' experience (internships, research assistantships, articleship) in research or data analysis; eProcurement system experience; SPSS/R proficiency
• Note: Successful completion of CA/CS/ICWA articleship is considered equivalent to one year of experience

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Screening: All applications received by the due date are screened against minimum educational qualifications and experience prescribed for the post.
2. Shortlisting: The duly constituted Selection Committee shortlists candidates. IICA reserves the right to devise its own shortlisting criteria. Holding minimum qualifications alone does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
3. Presentation and/or Interview: Shortlisted candidates are invited for a presentation and/or interview at IICA Campus, Manesar, or through video conference on a date and time communicated separately.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates may have to undergo a medical examination, if required.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. IICA communicates only with shortlisted candidates and does not entertain interim correspondence or personal enquiries. Final results will be published on the IICA website.

Service Conditions – Contractual Employment

• The engagement is purely contractual for one year initially, extendable or curtailed depending on performance and requirement.
• WNS Project positions are co-terminus with the Project duration.
• Full-time attendance required on all working days and on holidays if required.
• Selected candidates must sign a contract with IICA and join duties immediately.
• Either party may terminate the contract with two months' notice or two months' consolidated emoluments in lieu.
• Leave and increments are governed by Institute policy.
