Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Grade I/II)

• Essential: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. Specific Bachelor's/Master's degree requirements vary by Department/School (e.g., Bachelor's in relevant Engineering discipline, MBBS, etc., as detailed in the notification).
• Experience:
  • Assistant Professor Grade II (Pay Level 10 & 11): Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience may be considered.
  • Assistant Professor Grade I (Pay Level 12): Candidates with at least 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industrial experience may be considered.
