- Additional Professor (Medical): MD/MS + 10 years experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (2/5-yr) + 8 years experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (3-yr) + 7 years experience.
- Associate Professor (Medical): MD/MS + 6 years experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (2/5-yr) + 4 years experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (3-yr) + 3 years experience.
- Assistant Professor (Medical): MD/MS + 3 years experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (2/5-yr) + 1 year experience (OR) DM/M.Ch (3-yr) + No experience.
- Non-Medical (for specific departments): Master's degree + Doctorate degree + required teaching/research experience as per the post (3 to 14 years).
