Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country. Indian Nationals fulfilling following advertised criteria may attend walk-in Interviews under the funded project titled “Maharashtra State Development of Educators and Enhancement in Delivery (MS-DEED)” (Proj. code: 33821564) funded by Maharashtra State Faculty Development Academy (MSFDA):

1. Name of the Post: Coordinator
2. Number of posts: 01 (One)
3. Minimum educational qualification & experience: Ph.D. in Science with minimum 10 years of experience in undergraduate teaching out of which minimum 2 years’ of experience in pedagogy & teacher training
4. Preference: Candidates having: Demonstrated skills in Science communication, popularization and education. Experience in organizing outreach in-person and online workshops and events. Experience of training college teachers on inquiry based, active learning pedagogy and content development. Understanding of financial and administrative processes related to the project management Will be preferred.
5. Job Requirement: Incumbent is expected to organize pedagogy workshops for college teachers, organize hands-on science activity workshops for teachers, develop online resources for teachers on how to teach science and mathematics, lead a team of trainers and experts, design and conduct residential program for undergraduate teachers, develop partnerships with Government and Non-Governmental agencies to organize seminars, meetings and workshops etc.
6. Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of one year, which may be extended subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent
7. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
