Applications are invited for the temporary post of Junior Technician for the project titled “Indian Nano electronics Users Programme -Idea to Innovation (INUP-i2i)” in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras 1. Duration: Twelve (12) months (likely to be further extended based on performance) 2. Post Name: Junior Technician 3. No. of Post: 08 4. Qualification and Experience: ITI Certificate in EEE / ECE / Mech / Materials / Physics with three years of experience Diploma in the EEE / ECE / Mech / Materials / Physics 5. Pay: Rs.16,000/- to Rs.38,000/-

Selection Procedure
1.Candidates will be short-listed for Test/Interview on the basis of the information provided by them in their online applications.
2. The Institute has a right to decide the mode of screening and testing the applicant for short listing and selection
3. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
How to Apply:
1. The candidates who have completed 27 years in General Category and 29 years in SC / ST category as on the date of announcement need not apply. The coordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
2. The emoluments would be fixed based on the qualification and experience gained. Application on plain paper giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, rank, year of passing), community and experience etc., along with the copies of certificates, should reach the following address on or before 14th November, 2021.
3. Candidates already working in any project at IIT Madras, should send their application through the Co-ordinator of the project. Please write “Application for the post of in INUP-i2i” on the envelope.
4. Candidates should apply online only in the website https://icandsr.iitm.ac.in/recruitment/ - (Please check the advertisement number Advt.176/2021 displayed and submit the application for the relevant position).
5. Candidates should not attempt to apply twice for the same post. If multiple applications are received from a candidate for the same post, his/her candidature will liable to be rejected
