1. Post Name: JGM/ DGM E4- Finance-One 01 Post. 2. Location: IRCTC West Zone/Mumbai. (Transferable as per business requirements) 3. Duration: Three years or till IRCTC is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption, whichever is earlier. 4. Term of appointment: Deputation 5. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600-39100 GP-6600 (6thCPC)/ Level-II (7thCPC) CDA pattern. (Eligible for E-5 post) -OR- Pay Scale Rs. 80000-220000, IDA pattern (Eligible for E-5 post) Rs. 15600-39100 GP-5400 (6thCPC)/ Level-IO (7thCPC) CDA pattern. (Eligible for E-4 post)-OR- Pay Scale Rs. 70000-200000 , IDA pattern (Eligible for E-4 post) 6. Job description: To take care of accounting through ERP, Direct/lndirect taxation, Railway co- ordination, departmental catering, tender vetting, new projects monitoring, funds management, budgets, cost control, internal audits and other works as assigned by higher officials. 7. Qualification/ Experience: Officer should be Graduate from recognised university. Proficiency of work in Accounts field and working knowledge of MS- office/excel/word/access, etc. 8. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is a “Mini Ratna (Category-I)” Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways, Government of India. IRCTC was incorporated on 27 th September, 1999 as an extended arm of the Indian Railways to upgrade, professionalize and manage the catering and hospitality services at stations, on trains and other locations and to promote domestic and international tourism through development of budget hotels, special tour packages, information & commercial publicity and global reservation systems. The authorized capital of the company is 250 crores and paid up capital is 160 crores, fully subscribed by Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It’s registered and Corporate Office is situated at New Delhi.
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) headquarters is located in New Delhi. IRCTC is a subsidiary of the Indian Railways that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian railways.
Online ticketing: Passengers can book ticket online as well as through mobile phones. In addition to e-tickets, IRCTC also offers I-tickets (These are like regular tickets except that they are booked online and delivered by post).
To make e-tickets booking easier, IRCTC launched a scheme called Rolling Deposit Scheme (RDS). Rolling Deposit Scheme is a hassle-free e-ticket booking scheme allowing passengers to reserve seats against advance money kept with the corporation. Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd has also added flights and hotels booking facilities to their line of online reservation services.
Tourism: IRCTC organizes budget and deluxe package tours for domestic and foreign tourists. Luxury tourism packages are also available, that involve special luxury trains such as Palace on Wheels, Royal Orient Express, Golden Chariot, Deccan Odyssey, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Buddhist Circuit Train.
IRCTC also offers adventure tourism packages that include water sports, adventure and wildlife treks, etc. Provisions are also made for customizing tours as per specific requirements.
Tatkal Booking: Under this scheme, passengers who plan their journey at short notice can book their tickets in almost all Mail/Express trains through the Indian railways internet portal. All Tatkal bookings can be done for trains departing within 48 hours.
