1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Number of Position (s): One (01)

3. Title of The Project: Alkylthiocyanates as New Bifunctional Reagents in Photo-Redox Reactions: Ambident Reactivity Enabling Photo-Cascade Synthesis of Diverse S- and N-Heterocycles from Olefins

4. Tenure of Project: 34 Months Or Co-terminus with the project; whichever is earlier.

5. Job Description (in maximum of 100 words): The selected candidate is expected to carry out the research on Photo-catalytic reactions related to the project in consultation with the PI. He is also expected to write the draft reports, manuscripts and patents resulting from the project in consultation with the PI.

6. Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic./Inorganic Spcl.) with 1st class or minimum 60% marks/CGPA 6.5 (if class is not awarded) and a valid GATE/NET qualification.

7. Desirable Qualification: 0-2 year experience in Organic Synthesis

8. Fellowship: @ 31,000/- per month for first two years and: @ 35,000/- per month for third year.
