Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: Graduate or Post-graduate degree in Science OR Graduate or Post-graduate degree in a professional course like Engineering (preferably B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc Tech in Engineering/Geology/Geophysics streams).
• Technical Requirement: Must possess knowledge of Data Analysis or Web App Development.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years (as on the date of Interview).
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
• Additional Relaxation: 2 years relaxation for candidates with relevant research or work experience.

3. Selection Criteria (Preferred)

Candidates selected through the following exams are preferred:

• CSIR-UGC-NET
• GATE
• Other national-level examinations conducted by central government agencies

4. Desirable Qualifications

• Prior research or project experience.
• Exposure to data analysis and programming (Python, R, or MATLAB).
• Experience with AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning).
• GIS (Geographic Information System) knowledge.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Document processing.

Salary / Fellowship Structure

Note: The fellowship is for the project duration (max 2 years) and is subject to satisfactory performance.

Selection Process

Since this is a research position, there is no written examination. The selection process involves:

1. Shortlisting: Based on the merit of submitted documents, educational qualifications, and NET/GATE score (if applicable).
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (In-person at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad).
