The eligible candidates are requested to apply for one position of Project Assistant to work in a project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology-SERB, Government of India. The details are as follaws:

1. Post Name: Project Assistant

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Title of Project: "Elucidating the multipartite biotic interactions associated with the Indian Lac Insect IKerria lacca (Ker.)"

4. Duration of the project: 12 months extendable up to 36 months based solely on performance and aailakilitv.af fund The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

5. Desirable Qualifications: The candidates should preferably possess post-graduate degree. The candidate should have experience in handling regular laboratory experiments, laboratory accounts and bills. 

a. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules). Preferably Post Graduate Degree/M.Sc. in Basic Science and having qualified CSIR-UGC NET (LS) and or GATE or qualified national level examinations conducted by central government department and their agencies institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IT, ISc, ISER etc.)

6. Stipend: Rs.20,000 + 8%HRA p.m.
