The exam is conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM) and Shift 2 (3:00 PM – 5:30 PM). Reporting time is 1 hour before the start.

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?

This exam is only for in-service teachers currently employed in government or non-government schools. Fresh candidates seeking new teaching jobs are not eligible.

Primary Teacher Eligibility Test

Open to all in-service primary teachers (Sahayak Shikshak, Prathmik Shikshak, Samvida Shala Shikshak Varg 3, etc.) who have not cleared TET.

Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test

Open to all in-service secondary teachers (Shikshak, Madhyamik Shikshak, Adhyapak, Samvida Shala Shikshak Varg 2) who have not cleared TET.

Note: Candidates must currently be serving in the post for which they are applying. The TET result is not valid for future direct recruitment.
