Subject: Applications are invited for a Principal Project Associate position IIIT Delhi.

1. Position: Principal Project Associate

2. Monthly Remunerations: Rs. 49,000/- + 24% HRA

3. Project Description: Applications are invited for a Principal Project Associate position at the Department of Computational Biology, IIITDelhi. This position is sanctioned in BIC project funded by Department of Biotechnology, DBT, India. This position is purely on a contract basis.

4. Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in biotechnology/bioinformatics/computer science/lifescience or Bachelor’s degree in Engg or Technology in Computer/Information Science from a recognized University or equivalent; and ii) four years’ experience in the field of computational biology/software development/system administration/Information Technology OR PhD in Science/ Engg./ Technology from a recognized University; worked in the field of computational biology/software development/system administration/Information Technology

5. Responsibilities: Software development in the field of computational biology. Linux system administration. Managing virtual operating systems and Dockers for computational biology. Development pipelines in health care

6. Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable after review.
