Applications are invited for the one post of Research Assistant (RA) at Department of Food Engineering and Technology, ICT, Mumbai. The details of the project and eligibility criteria are given below:
1. Post Name: Research Assistant
2. Project Name: Research & Development for Resolving Gaps in scaling up of Millet Value Chain for Technical backstopping micro units under PMFME MOFPI
3. Duration: 2 years
4. No of Posts: 01
5. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- pm (Consolidated)
6. Essential Qualification: M. Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology /Food Technology/ Food Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Food Science
7. Desirable: Outstanding candidate with experience in millets will be preferred.

Selection Procedure
1. The selection of the candidate will be based on an interview canducted by a committee. The date and time of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only by email.
2. The recommendation of the committee will be final. The initial appointment will be for 6 months and will be renewed based on the performance of the candidate. No TA/DA will be provided to appear for this interview.
