Educational Qualification: M.A, MSW
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate on contract basis in the at ISEC, Bengaluru
1. Name of the Position / Designation: Research Associate -Two posts
2. Essential Qualification: Post Graduation in Sociology/Social Work/Development/ Economics/ Development Studies and Psychology Excellent knowledge of Kannada and English Ability to undertake review of literature and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data analysis software
3. Desirable Qualification: Familiarity with Bengaluru city. Experience in designing and conducting primary studies
4. Salary Per Month (Consolidate): Rs.30,000/-
5. Tenure: Initially 4 months from the date of joining and may be extended for another two months depending upon the Performance (total 6 months).

Selection Procedure
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in the fourth week of January 2022. No TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.

The Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) is an All India Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training in the field of Social Sciences. It was established in the year 1972 by the late Professor V K R V Rao. It was established to create a blend of field-oriented empirical research and advances in social science theories leading to better public policy formulation. The Governor of Karnataka is the President of the ISEC Society. ISEC is governed by the Board of Governors consisting of eminent academicians and social scientists elected from among founder / life members and representatives of Government of India, Government of Karnataka and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
