Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate on contract basis in the Centre for Centre for Study of Social Change and Development at ISEC
1. Centre / Project Title: Estimating the contribution of informal sector in India
2. Post Name: Research Associate
3. Essential Qualification: Masters in Social Sciences (any discipline) Proficiency in handling large data sets, especially NSSO unit level data Excellent writing skills in English
4. Desirable Qualification: Familiarity with the studies on informal sector in India Familiarity with core labor standards and Indian labour laws in systematic review/meta Experience analysis/realist review
5. Salary: Rs. 30000 per month (Consolidated)
6. Tenure: 6 months from the date of joining.

The Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) is an All India Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Training in the field of Social Sciences. It was established in the year 1972 by the late Professor V K R V Rao. It was established to create a blend of field-oriented empirical research and advances in social science theories leading to better public policy formulation. The Governor of Karnataka is the President of the ISEC Society. ISEC is governed by the Board of Governors consisting of eminent academicians and social scientists elected from among founder / life members and representatives of Government of India, Government of Karnataka and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
