Applications are invited for the position of a Research Assistant / Associate for the project “Social stratification and gender divide aspects of education experience during covid-19

1. Position: Research Assistant / Associate

2. Essential Qualification: 

A. Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with specialization in social sciences or humanities

B. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati language

C. Proficiency in handling MS office

D. Excellent command over oral and written English & Gujarati language

E. Experience in carrying out qualitative data collection, transcription, and analysis

F. Proficiency in qualitative data analysis software namely Atlas Ti or NVivo will be an added advantage. 

3. Remuneration and Tenure: The appointment will be made on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration of Rs.16,000/- per month based on qualification and experience. Candidates with UGC NET qualifications shall be considered for the position of a Research Associate with a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month. This is a contractual position for six months.

Selection Procedure

Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications and experience prescribed will not make a candidate eligible to be called for an interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. No correspondence/interim inquiries/telephone inquiries in the matter will be entertained.
