Number of Vacancy: 33 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Manager: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field with MBA from a recognized institution with 55% marks at each level or of equivalent Grade Point Average.
Assistant Manager: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field with MBA from a recognized institution with 55% marks at each level or of equivalent Grade Point Average.
Training & Placement Officer: Master degree with 55% marks or an equivalent Grade Point Average. 03 years’ relevant experience.
Legal Assistant: Bachelor’ Degree in law from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. Three years’ experience in handling court cases in a Government/ Semi-Government organization and / or practice before High court or Lower Court in Civil/ Labour service rules.
Accounts Assistant: Commerce graduate with 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized University. Note: Candidates holding PG degree from recognized University are exempted for having 50% marks at Graduation.
Junior Technical Assistant: B.E. / B. Tech in IT /E&CE /EE/CSE having 55% marks and above with 03 years’ experience in product design and Innovation.
IT Assistant: B.E. / B. Tech in IT /E&CE /CSE OR 03 years’ diploma in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / E&CE / IT with 03 years’ experience in relevant field.
Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average from a recognized University. For more details, please refer to official notification.
Pay Scale:
INR
18000-166700/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, J&K has been established through an Act No. XVIII of 2005 dated: 7th November 2005 passed by J&K State Legislature and notified by the State Government, through Jammu & Kashmir Government Gazette dated: 11-11-2005. While the university started functioning in November, 2005 the teaching programme was started in July 2006. The Chancellor of the University is the Lieuteutant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and the executive authority of the University is its Executive Council with the Vice Chancellors of University of Jammu, University of Kashmir and Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University as members. The University is accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘B+’ and is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and Section 12(b) of UGC Act.
The Technical and nursing programmes offered by the University are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Indian Nursing Council (INC). The University has the membership of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University came into existence with a mandate to advance and disseminate knowledge, wisdom and understanding amongst all segments of the society within and outside the State. It is also charged with creating an environment for learning, teaching and research in the sciences, technology, humanities and social sciences and that is in keeping with the highest standards of scholarship and higher education.
