Recruitment Overview

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Awantipora (Jammu & Kashmir), has released a notification (No. 9-369/2025-Estt(RCT)) dated 28.02.2026 to fill 4 key administrative and engineering posts on a Deputation Basis. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Medical Superintendent:
  • Medical qualification under Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (I/II Schedule or Part II of III Schedule).
  • Post-graduate degree (MD/MS) or MHA (Masters in Hospital Administration) recognized by MCI.
  • Experience: 10 years in Hospital Administration after PG degree, preferably in hospitals with 300+ beds.
• Superintending Engineer:
  • Officers holding analogous post OR Executive Engineers with 5 years regular service in grade pay Rs. 7600/- OR 10 years in grade pay Rs. 6600/-.
• Executive Engineer (Electrical):
  • Officers holding analogous post OR Assistant Engineer (Electric) with 5 years regular service in grade pay Rs. 5400/- OR Junior Engineer (Electric) with 7 years in grade pay Rs. 4600/-.
• Senior Accounts Officer:
  • Officers holding analogous post OR with 5 years regular service in relevant field in grade pay Rs. 5400/-.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Medical Superintendent: Maximum age 58 years as on last date of application.
• Other Posts: Maximum age 56 years as on last date of application.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Central Government rules.

Selection Process

This is a Deputation Recruitment based on Shortlisting and Interview. No written exam.

• Stage 1: Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting based on bio-data.
• Stage 2: Interview of shortlisted candidates.
• Venue: AIIMS New Delhi (or as decided by Competent Authority).
