Skills / Eligibility
1. Post Name: Chairman & Managing Director 2. Scale of Pay: Rs. 27750-31500 3. Job Description And Responsibilities: The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and accountable to the Board of Directors and Government of India. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters. 4. Qualification: The applicant should have the qualification of:Graduate with full time MBA/PGDIM; or Engineering graduate; or Chartered Accountant; or Cost Accountant; from a recognized University/ Institute. 5. Experience: The applicant should have adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute. Applicants with experience in production/ operations/ marketing/ finance and in Telecom Industry is desirable. 6. Duration Of Appointment: The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 7. Condition Of Immediate Absorption For Central Government Officers: Central Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and the All India Services, will be eligible for consideration only on immediate absorption basis.
