Educational Qualification: M.Sc
One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available in ICMR sponsored project (ID: 2020-4870) on: "Elucidating the role of clinical anemia in the induction of artemisinin resistance in the human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum”.
1. Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
2. Essential: M.Sc. (First Division) in Biotechnology or related areas. The candidate must be NET qualified and must have working experience in handling cells under tissue culture conditions, PCR, gene cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification techniques.
3. Desirable: Candidates with prior first-hand experience in handing Plasmodium falciparum and/or mammalian cells under standard tissue culture conditions, their transfections and fluorescence microscopy imaging techniques will be given preference.
4. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/month + HRA @27% (Rs. 8370/-)

Selection Procedure
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The selected candidate will be appointed on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year, and then may be extended, based on satisfactory performance, by the Principal Investigator for a maximum period of two years or the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
