Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Professor:
- Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- At least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
- Research score of 120 (as per criteria).
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience (or equivalent).
- Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in concerned/relevant/allied disciplines.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience.
- At least 7 publications with a research score of 75.
- Assistant Professor:
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks in relevant subject.
- Must have cleared NET/UGC/CSIR or SLET/SET.
- Exemption: Candidates with Ph.D. (as per UGC Regs 2009) are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
Department-wise Special Requirements
- Biochemistry & Biophysics: M.Sc. in Biochemistry (specific specialization required for different Associate posts).
- Environmental Science: M.Sc. in Env. Science/Botany/Zoology/Earth Science/Geology/Geography.
- Library & Information Science: Specialization in Resource Description and Content Designation.
- Philosophy: Open specialization as per departmental requirements.
