It is a Public Sector Undertaking established by State Government, comes under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India & State Government. The aim of Cooperation is to develop tourism in the State of Kerala and commercialization of Tourist Resources available in the State.
The prime objective of Corporation is to promote tourism in the State and implement various schemes for the benefit of the visiting tourist by view on technical cell and monitor various tourism projects,by organising various Festivals, participation in fairs,exhibitions, Marts, Holding of awareness programs for publicity campaign. They also provide information related to important tourist places of State & various tourist infrastructure like, Tourist Bungalow, Cafeteria, Restaurants, Transportation Facilities and Ropeway and provide various tourists spots by State Tourism Development Corporation.
The vision & mission of Corporation is to develop the manifold tourism related resources of the State in an eco-friendly manner with the active participation of the private sector and the local host communities with tourism because Kerala Tourism on map of tourism of the world is a one of the leading tourist destinations and make State synonymous with tourism.
