Also having the demonstration units like dairy (350 animals), sheep (200 Nos), organic poultry (200 Nos.), organic sericulture (100 dfl), vermicompost production (50 tonnes per annum), biogas (6 Nos.), azolla production (200 kg /day), bio inputs production (5000 lt/ month), fish pond (50 cents), plant propagation, horticulture nursery (12000 seedlings per year), meteorological observatory, modern and advanced machineries for cultural and plant protection.
The SKVK has been implementing various activities with well established physical, manpower (10 technical and 6 administrative staff) and infrastructural facilities like administrative building with well equipped audio visual aids, conference hall, soil and water testing lab, plant health clinic, information centre with e-connectivity, latest scientific journals and books with well equipped library (550 sq. m.), farmers hostel with the capacity to accommodate 50 to 100 participants (305 sq. m.) and staff quarters (400 sq. m.).
The main objective of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to provide knowledge and attitude or skills to their participants. KVK educate their participants in following subjects: Agricultural Crops, Horticultural Crops, Animal Husbandry (Fodder Area), Kitchen Garden, Agro Forestry, etc.
