About KVK Chittor
The RASS-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (RASS-KVK) one among the RASS family sanctioned by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and established in December 1992. KVK is an innovative institutional model for assessment, refinement and on farm demonstration of agricultural technologies and training of farmers and extension personnel. The Kendra is located 20 kms far from Tirupati town at Karakambadi panchayat, Renigunta mandal on the Chennai-Mumbai National highway. For the past 19 years, KVK is rendering its services for the socio-economic upliftment of farming community in Chittoor district through continued transformation in its functioning.
