Applications are invited for appointments (i) Assistant Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Emerging Technology, (ii) Assistant Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Information SciencePostgraduate, (iii) Assistant Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Information ScienceUndergraduate, (iv) Assistant Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Computer Applications and (v) Assistant Professor (on Contract) in the Department of Geo-informatics and Spatial Sciences under the School of Information Sciences and Technology with the following eligibility criteria as stated below: Advt. No. MAKAUT/REG/VACANCY/17/2022 1. Position: Assistant Professor 2. Eligibility and specializations: a) Ph D (Desirable) in Information Technology/Computer Science & Engineering (Desirable) with B E/B Tech and M E/M Tech (Essential) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees and good academic record in all preceding degrees. b) Ph D in Information Technology/Computer Science & Engineering (Desirable) with B E/B Tech/B Sc and M E/M Tech/M Sc (Essential) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees and good academic record in all preceding degrees. c) Ph D in Information Technology/Computer Science & Engineering (Desirable) with B E/B Tech/B Sc/BCA and M E/M Tech/M Sc/MCA (Essential) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees and good academic record in all preceding degrees. d) Ph D in Information Technology/Computer Science & Engineering (Desirable) with B E/B Tech/B Sc/BCA and M E/M Tech/M Sc/MCA (Essential) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees and good academic record in all preceding degrees. e) Ph D in Geo-informatics (Desirable) with B E/B Tech and M E/M Tech (Essential) in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees and good academic record in all preceding degrees. 3. Desirable: a) Experience and expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Information security/Internet of Things. b) Experience and expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Cyber security/Computer Networks/DBMS/Software Engineering/ Computer Architecture/ Information Security. c) Experience and expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Cybersecurity/Information Security/Data Science/Computer Networks. d) Experience and expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/ Cyber security/ Computer Networks/DBMS/Software Engineering/Computer Architecture/Information Security. e) Experience and expertise in Geo-informatics 4. Remuneration will be as per University/State Govt norms for contractual faculty members.

2. Envelope must be properly super scribed with the post applied for as “Application for the post of Assistant Professor (on Contract) in ”.
3. One set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents must be submitted along with the application.
4. Application forms submitted by the applicants must be properly filled in all respect and all the entries therein must be substantiated by supporting documents without which such applications would be treated as invalid.
5. The hard copy of applications will be received upto 25/04/2022.
