Advertisement for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor on Contract Basis in various medical institutions of Govt. Of NCT of Delhi.

i. The Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. Of NC T of Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates in prescribed format for filling up of 149 posts of Assistant Professor purely on Contractual basis in different Specialities in Govt. of Delhi Medical Institutions. The details of posts are given below.

3. Essential Educational Oualifications and Experience:

a. A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications ) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the India Medical Council Act, 1956.

b. Post- Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty/super specialty mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. DNB in Concerned Specialty/super specialty of the CHS Rule, 1996.

c. For the specialty of Pulmonary Medicine required postgraduate qualification is i) MD (Medicine/Respiratory Medicine)ii) DM in Pulmonary Medicine or 3 years teaching experience as Senior Resident in Pulmonary Medicine after MD (Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine).

d. At least three (3) years teaching experience in the concerned specialty as lecture/tutor/registrar demonstrator/Sr. Resident after the requisite Post-graduate degree qualification.( Note:- Teaching experience in any other post like the posts of GDMO/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to teaching posts.)

e. In case of super Specialty disciplines in addition to requirement at (I) to (l V) above, at least 3 years experience as Senior Resident/ Tutor/Demonstrator (Registrar /Lecturer in the concerned specialty in a recognized Teaching Institution after the first postgraduate qualification (Note:- In the case of holders of D.M./M.CH. qualification of five years duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last Part of the said D.M./M.CH. shall be counted towards requirement of five years' experience

f. In disciplines where there are no prescribed CHS regulations, the minimum education qualification and experience to be prescribed shall be drawn on the line similar to the standard prescription in the CHS regulations of other specialties and in consultation with the HOD of the concerned Department Of MAMC/ other Institutions.

g. The candidate must be registered with Delhi Medical Council before appointment to the post. The candidate must fulfill the requisite qualification and experience on or before 16-03-2022. 4. The consolidated remuneration will be - Rs. 95000/- per month.
