Ministry of Environment and Forests Invites Application for Consultant Recruitment 2022

Integrated Regional Office, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Bangalore invites applications from reputed service providers registered under Registrar of Companies for filling up 01 post of Consultant purely on contract basis.

1. Name of the Post: Consultant for Forest Wing

2. No of Post: 01

3. Remuneration:- Rs.40 000/- .m. excluding taxes, TA/DA shall be provided separately

4. Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. in Forestry with more than 3 years of experience in works related to Forest Conservation/ Forest Management, Forest Working Plans/ Wild Life Management

5. Terms of engagement: 

a) The engagement to the above posts on contract basis in the Integrated Regional Office at Bangalore of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change will be initially for a period of one year expandable up to maximum of three years (one year at a time) subject to assessment of performance of the professional and extension will be considered on a case to case basis with the approval of the Competent Authority.

b) The contractual appointment would be on full time basis and the appointed person will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with the Ministry. As the post is temporary in nature and purely on contractual basis, in no case any request for promotion or absorption as permanent employee shall be entertained

c) The appointment will be purely on a temporary nature and can be cancelled at any time by the Ministry without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be through personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in case of the applications are received in large number.
