Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • General Criteria: Qualifications, experience, and research publications must be as prescribed by UGC Regulations 2018 (as amended), NCTE Regulations 2014, AICTE Regulations, or ICAR Guidelines.
  • Research Publications: Candidates must possess the minimum required number of research publications in Peer-Reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
  • Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% marks is allowed at the Graduate and Master's level for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently-abled/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
  • Experience: Period of M.Phil/Ph.D. shall not be considered as teaching/research experience for appointment. Only post-qualification experience counts.

Age Limit

  • The upper age limit is generally 65 years for appointments in Universities (as per UGC guidelines).
  • Cut-off Date: Qualifications, experience, and age will be reckoned as on the last date of application submission (05-04-2026).

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD: Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt of India/UGC norms.
  • Reservation: Valid reservation certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must be uploaded. EWS candidates must possess an Income and Asset Certificate as per DoPT OM.

Following substantial construction and infrastructure development, the university fully shifted its headquarters to Lumami in mid-2010.
