Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Essential: Post Graduate Degree with 55% marks in Geography/Earth Sciences/Related subjects with specialization in Geomorphology and allied fields. Must be NET Qualified.
  • Desirable: Post Graduate Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS; knowledge of Hydrodynamic Modelling and Python; experience in glacial environments.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of the date of application.

Salary / Emoluments

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹37,000 plus 10% HRA for the initial 2 years. The project tenure is 3 Years (1+1+1).

Following substantial construction and infrastructure development, the university fully shifted its headquarters to Lumami in mid-2010.
