3. Salary: 13A / 14 as per 7th Pay commission, Government of India plus other perks as per ICAT provisions, which includes car etc. and performance linked incentive. The pay package will be negotiable for deserving candidates within respective pay level.

4. Nature of Appointment: Deputation /Contract basis. Appointment will be for a period of 5 years or till normal age of superannuation of 60 years whichever is earlier. It can be extended on merit with the approval of the Governing Council NAB.

5. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Full time) in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) (preferably Master’s Degree or higher) having proven track record and leadership capabilities at Senior level in R & D in Automotive or Allied Engineering fields. Knowledge of State-of-Art technology in Automotive Sector will be an added advantage.

6. Experience Should have experience in the field of R & D in Automobile and Allied engineering field with forward long-term vision with Managerial capability in private, public or Governmental sectors for a period of 15-20 Years.

7. For candidates coming from Government Deputation: Candidate coming from Government deputation should be in analogous post of pay level -14 or in the pay level -13A (as per 7th Pay Commission) for at least two years with 15-20 years minimum experience. The candidate should have R & D experience. Deputation can be from an organized Central Group –A Central Government Service or State Government Service or from a Central PSU Or Autonomous bodies of Central Ministries. Candidates must apply through the proper channel along with last 5 years APAR/CRs and vigilance clearance.
