Applications are invited to attend "Interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing) " for the following post of Project Associate-II in DBT funded "National Programme for Quarantine and GM Diagnostics of Genetically Engineered Plant Material" (Component 2) at ICAR- NBPGR, New Delhi as mentioned below.

3. Qualifications: Essential qualification: l) Master's Degree in Science (Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Genetics/ Food Technology/ Life Sciences/ Plant Genetics Resources or equivalent Degree) from a recognized University 2) Two years' relevant experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and Services in the area 3) Qualified NET/ GATE or equivalent examination
4. Emoluments/ month : Rs 35, 000/- plus HRA
5. Name of PI : Dr. Gurinderjit Randhawa
6. Project Duration: Till 27" September 2025
7. Desirable Qualification: Experience of Plant Molecular Biology techniques Knowledge of ISO17025, Proficiency in computers

Age Limit: Upper Age limit: 35 years
1. Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview.
2. The candidates should have minimum 60% marks in Master Degree Candidates having essential qualification will be only be considered for interview after shortlisting.
3. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
4. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, selected candidate have no right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in ICAR/NBPGR. Duration of the post will be I year till 31 st March 2023 and further extendable based on the performance.
5. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be further scrutinized and only shortlisted candidates based on the merit will be informed for further details regarding interview by email or over phone or in-person.
6. Original documents for the candidates appearing online interview will be verified at a later stage or verified on the interview date in case of in-person Interview.
Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 conditions/ guidelines, an online or in-person interview will be conducted.
