CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Project Staff on a temporary basis. This recruitment is for the project entitled "Monitoring and Assessment of High Rate Transpiration System for land Treatment and Disposal of Effluent from Dana Anand India Pvt. Ltd. Chakan, Pune (CNP-3012)". Candidates will be selected through a Walk-in-Interview to be held at the CSIR-NEERI Chennai Zonal Centre.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Associate -I

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Biotechnology OR M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University.
• Job Requirement: Field sampling, data collection & analysis of soil, Data compilation and interpretation, report writing, etc.
• Age Limit: 35 Years (As on the last date of receipt of applications).

Salary / Emoluments

Monthly Emoluments for Project Associate-I:

• Option (a): Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET lectureship / Assistant professorship or GATE OR Those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent.
• Option (b): Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.

• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 06th January 2026
• Time of Reporting: 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Gate will be closed by 11:00 am)

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of a Walk-in-Interview at CSIR-NEERI, Chennai Zonal Centre. Candidates must bring the following documents:

• Passport-size photo
• Aadhaar card
• 10th (SSC) and 12th (HSC) marksheets and certificates
• Graduate and Postgraduate marksheets and degrees (Original + One set photocopy)
• Filled application form (attached in the advertisement)

Candidates are required to appear for the Walk-in-Interview on the specified date and time. They must bring all original documents, photocopies, and the filled application form. Candidates should ensure they meet the essential qualification criteria before appearing.

• Result awaited / Final semester appeared or Ph.D. submitted candidates are not eligible.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Selected candidates must join within the timeframe mentioned in the offer letter.
