- Appraise project proposals received from States/UTs and oversee fund release.
- Monitor physical progress of Government of India-funded projects.

- Maintain close liaison with ICAR research institutes and other research bodies.
- Deal with feed quality control, incentives, feed industry support, plan coordination, and general coordination.

- With 3 years of regular service in Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – 1,42,400) [Pre-revised GP ₹4,600] or equivalent.
- Essential Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized university/institute.
- Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with specialization in animal nutrition from a recognized university/institute.
- Desirable Experience: 2 years of experience in Animal Nutrition and quality control of feed.
