Eligibility Criteria (Deputation Basis)
1. For Principal Private Secretary (Level-11)
- Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis in Central/State Govt., Courts, or Tribunals.
- OR Officers with 6 years of regular service in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4800 (Level 8).
- OR Officers with 7 years of regular service in Grade Pay Rs. 4600 (Level 7).
- OR Officers with 10 years of regular service in Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Level 6).
- Speed Skills: Must possess a speed of 100 words per minute in Shorthand (English/Hindi).
- Computer Knowledge: Essential working knowledge of Computer Operations. Desirable: 6-month Computer Training Course.
2. For Private Secretary (Level-8)
- Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis in Central/State Govt., Courts, or Tribunals.
- OR Officers holding the post of Court Master or Stenographer Grade-I with 6 years of regular service in Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Level 6).
- Speed Skills: Must possess a speed of 100 words per minute in Shorthand and 40 words per minute in Typewriting (English).
- Computer Training: Essential Computer Training Course of 6 months duration.
- Desirable: Degree in Law.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of 09 March 2026.
- Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is generally not applicable for deputation posts unless specific DoPT orders are invoked, but candidates must check the official DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II).
