Educational Qualification

• Degree in Civil Engineering OR
• Master’s degree in Maths/Computer/Physics/Statistics with specialization in Hydrology OR
• Post Graduate in Hydrology / Water Resources or equivalent from a recognized university.

Experience & Deputation Eligibility

Officers from Central/State Govt./PSUs/Semi-Govt./Autonomous Orgs./Engineering Universities/R&D Organisations must fulfill one of the following:

• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
• With 5 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-11 (Rs. 67,700-2,08,700) or equivalent.

Note: Departmental Deputy Director (Hydrology) with 5 years of regular service in the grade will also be considered.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

• Officer should not have been vigilance cleared or have any disciplinary proceedings pending.
