Educational Qualification: DMLT
1. Post Name: NTEP Lab Technician/ Sputum Microscopist
2. Qualification: Intermediate or certified Laboratory (10+2)and Diploma course in Medical Technology or Equivalent
3. Additional Qualification: One year experience in NTEP or Sputum smear microscopy Candidates with Higher qualification (for E.g Graduates) shall be preferred DMLT/CMLTapproved by Directorate of Medical Education, Tamilnadu shall be preferred.

National Health Mission Tamil Nadu, Department of Health and Family welfare was started for the rural population. this programme was launched in Tamil nadu on 12th April 2005, with the view of bring architectural correction of health system to enable it to effectively handle increased allocation and promote policies that strengthen public health management and service delivery as prescribed under the NRHM of India . This programme is for seven years from 2005-2012. National Health mission Tamil nadu was funded by Government of India.
State Rural Health Mission was launched in Tamilnadu on 12.4.05 with the view to bring architectural correction of the health system to enable it to effectively handle increased allocations and promote policies that strengthen public health management and service delivery as prescribed under the NRHM of India. The programme is for the period of 2005-2012. The programme is funded by Government of India.
