Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. (i) One position of Senior Project Associate against DBT funded project entitled “Understanding the role of an Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase in the invasion and intracellular replication of the zoonotic bacterial pathogen, Brucella” PI: Dr. Girish K Radhakrishnan. Advertisement No. 13/2022 1. Name of the Post: Senior Project Associate 2. No of Post: 01 3. Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognised university or equivalent and Four years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services or Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized university or equivalent. 4. Fellowship amount: Rs. 42,000/-PM+24% HRA = 52,080/- PM as per the DST guidelines. Candidates having prior experience in working in the Biosafety Level-3 (BSL-3) laboratories with in-depth knowledge on various biochemical, molecular and immunological techniques for studying host-pathogen interaction will be preferred.

Selection Procedure
Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by duly constituted selection committee online through zoom/google/skype meet. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience certificates are required to be submitted at time of joining.

The vision and mission of the institute are to develop sustainable and global competitive livestock industry through innovative technology, pharmaceutical and biologics for animal health care.
The NIA collaborated with the university of Hyderabad, conducting M.Sc & Ph.d. Programs to train young scientist in discipline of, Translational Research, Genomics, Nutrition Enrichment, Transgenic Technology, Infectious Diseases, Reproductive Biotechnology, etc.
