Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill the following position at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
1. Position: Project Associate I
2. No of Posts: 01
3. One position of Project Associate I under DBT funded project entitled “Development of field based diagnostic assays (serological and molecular) and genotyping of Toxoplasma gondii from clinical samples”.
4. Essential Qualification: Master degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Microbiology, etc.) from a recognised university or equivalent.
5. Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/PM +24% HRA = 38,440/- PM.
6. Candidates with prior experience in developing serodiagnostic assays and molecular biology techniques involving gene cloning, nucleic acid isolation, genotyping, and protein purification will be preferred.

Selection Procedure
Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email, and interviewed by duly constituted selection committee online through zoom/google/skype meeting.

The vision and mission of the institute are to develop sustainable and global competitive livestock industry through innovative technology, pharmaceutical and biologics for animal health care.
The NIA collaborated with the university of Hyderabad, conducting M.Sc & Ph.d. Programs to train young scientist in discipline of, Translational Research, Genomics, Nutrition Enrichment, Transgenic Technology, Infectious Diseases, Reproductive Biotechnology, etc.
