1. Project Title: ‘Multicentric Task Force Studies on a machine learning approach to understanding the effect of climate change and air pollution on malaria in India’

5. Salary: Rs.48,000/- + HRA as per rules

6. Essential Qualification: Candidate should possess 1st class Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics / Epidemiology / Population Science / Engineering from a recognized University with 2 years experience in the related field Or 2nd class Master’s degree with Ph.D. in Statistics / Biostatistics / Epidemiology / Population Science / Engineering from a recognized University.

7. Desirable Qualification: Strong analytical knowledge and experience of handling large datasets Knowledge of handling biological databases. Knowledge of handling statistical tools (SPSS, R, MATLAB, STATA, Graph Pad Prism etc) Experience in machine learning techniques.

8. Experience Required: A publication record which demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases. The ability to understand and interpret complex research and scientific projects, and to communicate key messages to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
