Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship”, NIPGR under the supervision of Dr. Amar Pal Singh, Scientist, NIPGR. Emoluments will be at par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST and NIPGR fellowship norms.

3. Eligibility: Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019, and having Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences with at least 60% (or equivalent) marks can apply. Candidates with experience of working with molecular biology techniques such RNA isolation, cDNA isolation, qRT-PCR analysis, histochemical analysis, mutant screening through PCR genotyping, etc., and having documented proof of these experiences will be given preference.

4. The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the scheme. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and the discretion of the Competent Authority.
