Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. Track: Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Microbiology or a related field. Candidates must comply with guidelines in DST Office Memorandum No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023.
- Alternate Track: M.Tech in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics with three years of research experience and a relevant research publication (per DST OM above).
- Desirable Experience: Relevant experience in molecular biology, genome editing, handling transgenic plants, plant-pathogen handling, formulations, and protein biochemistry.
- Publications: SCI journal publications preferred: at least one first-author paper or two co-author papers, each with an impact factor above 3.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Stage 1: Scrutiny and shortlisting of applications based on eligibility and publications.
- Stage 2: Online Interview with shortlisted candidates. Link and schedule will be emailed.
- Screening Clause: BRIC-NIPGR reserves the right to raise eligibility criteria for shortlisting if the volume of applications is high.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview process.
