An Online Interview for the engagement of a Project Associate I (on contract basis) for a Research Project in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held (Postponed to 22nd April 2022)
1. Position: Project Associate I
2. Consolidated monthly pay : Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) per month (consolidated) + 16% HRA (if applicable)
3. Duration of Engagement : One year (on contract basis) and extendable for one year based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund
4. Name of the sponsoring Agency : Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India.
5. Name of Project : “Development of an Adaptive Distance Relaying Scheme in a Low Inertia Power System with Hardware Realization”
6. Qualifications : First Class B.Tech/B.E Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with Valid GATE Score.
7. Desirable Qualification : First Class M. Tech/M.E Degree in Power Systems/Power Engineering

Selection Procedure
The interview will be conducted online and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail.
How to Apply:
1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to [email protected] with subject “Application for Project Associate I: SERB/DM-EED”. The self attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information, other documents and photographs submitted.
2. The Institute reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for the candidates with exceptional credentials.
3. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if selected for the interview.
4. Last date to receive the submission of online application: Extended to 20.04.2022 at 5.00pm
