Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Master's Degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, or Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor's Degree.
- Alternative: Candidates with Post-Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences (3 years Bachelor's + 2 years Master's) must have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
- Desirable: Knowledge of computer usage is preferred.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- Men: 35 years
- Women: 40 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
- PwD: 10 years relaxation
- Other eligible categories as per GoI/ICAR rules
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will receive emoluments as per ICAR norms under the NICRA project:
- 1st and 2nd year: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA
- 3rd year: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
The initial engagement is up to 31.03.2027 and is likely to be extended. This is a contractual position but offers excellent exposure to field research and a competitive salary under the 7th CPC pattern.
